Assistant Product Development

Overview

Kjelvik International is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Product Development professional to join their dynamic team in the outdoor fashion industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and support the creation of high-quality outdoor clothing collections, working closely with design, purchasing, and supplier teams throughout the entire product development process.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and compilation of clothing collections

• Create and develop technical packs, size specifications, and bill of materials

• Coordinate and monitor the sample and production process

• Evaluate lab dips, fabrics, and accessories

• Review and assess samples for quality, fit, and sizing

• Identify and resolve production issues with manufacturers

• Monitor production planning and follow up with suppliers

• Provide advisory support to international customers and manufacturers

• Maintain up to date product sheets and administrative documentation

Requirements

• Completed MBO or HBO education in clothing/textile or relevant work experience

• Excellent command of Dutch and English

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Knowledge of size charts, fit patterns, and fabrics (preferred)

• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and administratively strong

• Strong team player with an independent work approach
