About the role
Overview
Sissy-Boy is seeking an enthusiastic Buying Assistant to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Amsterdam. As a Buying Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our buying team, working closely with buyers and collaborating across multiple departments including Logistics, Design, Finance, and Marketing. We're looking for an entrepreneurial individual who can contribute to our ambition of becoming a global family lifestyle brand.
Responsibilities
Place orders and manage delivery dates
Maintain article data in the ERP system
Follow up and evaluate product samples
Communicate with suppliers from various countries
Engage in internal communication with Design, Marketing, Inbound, E-commerce, and store departments
Assist in preparing samples for (campaign) photoshoots
Receive and send sample packages to and from suppliers
Request and process test reports
Contribute to sustainability goals
Requirements
Passion for the Sissy-Boy brand
MBO or HBO level education
1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong Excel skills
Proactive, structured, and analytically strong
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Excellent Dutch and English communication skills
