About the role
Overview
Canada Goose is seeking a Design Intern to join our innovative team in Paris. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within an iconic brand that empowers exploration and supports meaningful, impactful work. As a Design Intern, you'll be responsible for supporting the design and execution of our product line, integrating consumer insights and brand vision into premium product development.
Responsibilities
Manage carryover assortment, including color and print refreshes, style updates, and refabrications
Execute end to end color process from research and development to color keys and labdip requests
Work with design directors to establish seasonal color palettes
Coordinate print execution and review strike offs
Research and design designated styles from concept to proto approval
Collaborate with Merchandising and Product Development teams to support business objectives
Enter and update product data in Product Line Management (PLM) system
Support design team in product fittings and prototyping
Requirements
BA Honours Degree in Fashion Design
Fluency in French and English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign
Strong understanding of patternmaking and product construction
Knowledge of materials (fabrics and trims)
Excellent presentation and creative concept skills
CAD development skills for garment construction
Strong initiative, time management, and organizational skills
Critical understanding of market trends and runway designs
