About the role
Overview

This Product Engineer / Industrialisation role is critical to scaling products from concept to full production while maintaining uncompromising quality and brand standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure products are fully manufacturable at scale without compromising design intent
Collaborate with Design, Development, and Sourcing to validate construction feasibility
Work closely on material selection and component specification
Optimize construction and material choices to achieve margin and cost targets
Develop standardized, repeatable production processes
Train and support factories on new styles and techniques
Partner with Product Integrity & Compliance to ensure global legal and safety requirements are met
Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) changes throughout development cycle
Evaluate and enhance factory capabilities to align with brand execution standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Design & Technology, or related field
3-5 years experience in apparel product development or technical design, preferably in outerwear
Deep understanding of garment construction techniques and manufacturing processes
Extensive experience working with external factories and vendors
Strong knowledge of product testing, test methods, and approval processes
Proficiency in technical materials, construction methods, and supply chain logistics
Exceptional problem solving skills with ability to influence internal and external teams
