About the role
Overview
At G-STAR, we're passionate denim innovators committed to sustainability and creative problem solving. We're seeking a Sustainability Intern who shares our vision of transforming the denim industry through innovative and responsible practices. Our Sustainability Department has been integrating sustainable approaches since 2006, with ambitious goals for 2025 and 2030 focused on increasing recycled materials and circular design solutions.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on specific sustainability topics in social and environmental domains
Perform administrative tasks in sustainability performance monitoring software
Support reporting on G-Star's sustainability performance for stakeholders
Assist in comprehensive supply chain mapping
Requirements
Strong interest in sustainability topics within the denim industry
Hands-on attitude with ability to work independently
Excellent research and analytical skills
Capability to support multiple projects simultaneously
Currently enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands
Preferably with a Bachelor/Master background in Sustainability
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
