About the Role
As a Production & Design Intern, you'll play a crucial role in supporting both the Design and Product Development teams in creating menswear and accessories collections. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced fashion environment, working closely with designers, product developers, and production teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct trend and market research for seasonal collection development
Create concept boards, mood boards, and trend presentations
Research fabrics, trims, and garment construction techniques
Assist in design and development of menswear and accessories collections
Create technical drawings and design illustrations using Adobe Illustrator
Prepare and update technical packs (tech packs)
Support communication between Design and Technical Development teams
Assist during fittings and implement design-related feedback
Track and maintain sample measurements
Prepare size charts and grading specifications
Support Product Developers with daily operational tasks
Requirements
Currently enrolled in MBO, HBO, Bachelor's, or equivalent in Fashion Design, Fashion Development, or related field
Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and grading principles
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop knowledge a plus)
Strong Excel and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proactive, hands-on learning attitude
Strong English communication skills (Dutch a plus)
