About the role

Overview

Oppo Merchandise Group is a bold, internationally operating apparel company with offices in the Netherlands and the United States. We create eye-catching suits and clothing in striking prints and colors, for both adults and children. Our products are so distinctive that celebrities like Tom Hanks, Bill Gates, Jimmy Kimmel, Max Verstappen, and Armin van Buuren have been spotted wearing them.

Our products are sold worldwide across dozens of countries through our own webshops, marketplaces like Amazon and Bol.com, and well-known retailers such as Zalando and Macy's. We also collaborate regularly with major brands including Nintendo, PAC-MAN, Warner Bros, and Pokémon to create standout designs and campaigns.

To support our international growth ambitions, we are looking for a talented Product Developer who can bridge creativity and structure. You will be a key link within our Product Development team, translating designer concepts into finished, production-ready products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with designers to translate their creative concepts into tangible products

  • Set up and maintain production files, keeping them accurate and up to date

  • Review samples together with the production team to ensure consistent quality standards

  • Develop patterns and measurement sheets in collaboration with the production team, ensuring the perfect fit for all garments

  • Maintain a clear overview across multiple simultaneous projects, staying organized and structured at all times

  • Prioritize effectively and adapt flexibly when project demands shift

  • Act as the central point of contact within product development, managing updates across various internal and external systems

Requirements

  • A background in fashion management, design, or a comparable field (a relevant diploma is preferred)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office

  • Creative thinking with the ability to work both within and beyond conventional boundaries

  • Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail

  • A proactive mindset, spotting new opportunities and raising them even when not directly asked

  • Motivated, flexible, and confident in setting and managing priorities

  • Able to take your work seriously while keeping a sense of humor along the way

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of fabrics, trimmings, and garment construction

  • Relevant work experience in product development or a related field
