About the Internship

Oppo Merchandise Group is a young, dynamic and international company with offices in the Netherlands and the US. We make eye-catching suits and other clothing in unique prints and colors, for both adults and children. So eye-catching that celebrities like Tom Hanks, Bill Gates, Jimmy Kimmel, Max Verstappen and Armin van Buuren have already been spotted in our suits.

Our products are sold worldwide through our own webshops, marketplaces such as Amazon and Bol.com, and well-known fashion retailers and department stores such as Zalando, Wehkamp, Macy's, Selfridges and de Bijenkorf. We also regularly collaborate with major brands like Nintendo, Pac-Man, Warner Bros and Pokémon on the coolest designs and campaigns.

For our Marketing department, we are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media and Content intern. As a full member of our Marketing team, you'll directly contribute to our PR and Social Media activities, while also getting the space to carry out your own internship project. No rigid processes or outdated rules here: initiative, creativity and responsibility are the norm.

Responsibilities

Social Media and PR

Gathering new contacts and maintaining PR and influencer lists
Supporting the writing and scheduling of social posts, including creating content for TikTok
Documenting mentions, exposure and other coverage
Following relevant accounts on social media

Photography

Preparing for product shoots: creating product lists and ironing clothing
Supporting photoshoots, including welcoming and styling models and completing the shot list

Who are you?

You are pursuing a relevant higher professional education (hbo) degree in Marketing or Content
You fit in well with a young and ambitious team
You take initiative and aren't afraid to bring ideas forward, even without being asked
You are critical in how you carry out your work, but don't take yourself too seriously
You have an excellent command of the Dutch language
You can read English (a plus)
Ping pong skills are a welcome bonus
