About the role
Overview
Sam Friday is a young, ambitious fashion brand specialising in lingerie, swimwear, and loungewear. With a dynamic and stylish team, we combine speed with a sharp eye for trends and aesthetics. We are looking for an enthusiastic and eager Design Intern to join our creative team and contribute to the development of our latest collections.
If you are fashion conscious, creatively driven, and genuinely passionate about lingerie and swimwear, this is your opportunity to work alongside experienced designers in a hands-on, inspiring environment where your ideas truly matter.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with our designers on the development of new lingerie, swimwear, and loungewear collections
Create and develop print designs for upcoming collections
Assist with technical elaborations and detailed design work
Develop and maintain colour cards and colour stories
Contribute to collection presentations and visual materials
Bring your own creative ideas to the table and actively participate in the design process
Switch fluidly between a variety of tasks within a fast-paced, trend-driven team
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a fashion design, graphic design, or other creative degree programme
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
Strong sense of colour, shape, and trends
Ability to work independently, accurately, and with a proactive mindset
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and thriving in a varied work environment
Confident in sharing ideas and open to receiving constructive feedback
Nice to Have
Experience with Adobe Photoshop
A genuine interest in or affinity with lingerie, swimwear, and loungewear as product categories
