About the role
Overview
At ZEEMAN, we design our collections entirely in-house, and we're proud of it! With creativity, uniqueness, and a keen eye for people and the environment, we create distinctive clothing pieces that you'll see on the streets, social media, and at festivals across Europe.
As a Designer/Stylist for Women's Fashion, you'll have direct influence on creating clothing that is affordable, stylish, and surprising. We're looking for a passionate designer who can bring their unique signature to collections that thousands of people will wear.
Responsibilities
Collect relevant external information, including market and competitive research, trade shows, trend watchers, and trend books
Gather internal sales information from previous collections
Collect inspiration through travel and shopping trips
Create moodboards for specific product groups
Plan and organize work to meet deadlines and campaign requirements
Collaborate with the team on previewing themes, trends, and colors
Translate trends into your specific product package
Coordinate and align concepts with buyers
Develop technical style sheets and independent drawings
Create artworks
Maintain up-to-date collection overviews
Requirements
HBO degree in styling or fashion (e.g., AMFI, Artemis, Willem de Kooning)
Experience in women's fashion design (preferred)
Affinity for sustainability and commercial fashion
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience with artworks: placed prints and all-over prints
Creative, commercial, and practical mindset
Ability to work independently under deadlines
Excellent Dutch and English language skills

As a stylist, you'll be part of the purchasing department, working closely with a team of concept & styling managers, fellow stylists, and visual merchandisers. While you'll work independently, you'll be part of a close-knit, inspiring, and motivating team that collaborates to develop strong, sustainable collections.
