Product Development Intern – Fashion & Production

Overview
VIVEH is a premium women's fashion brand based in Amsterdam, known for daily chic, refined silhouettes, and versatile designs crafted with high quality fabrics. We are seeking a motivated Product Development Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience across the full product development cycle from concept to final sample.
Responsibilities
Support the product development process from initial design concept to final production
Assist with fabric sourcing, trims, and material selection, ensuring alignment with VIVEH's premium quality standards
Help manage fittings, sample reviews, and garment evaluations, noting improvements related to fit, construction, and finish
Communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and ateliers regarding samples, timelines, and technical details
Update and maintain tech packs, measurement charts, and product documentation
Assist with quality control checks to ensure garments meet design, fit, and durability standards
Support production planning, including timelines, deliveries, and coordination between teams
Research innovations in fabrics, sustainable materials, and production techniques relevant to the brand
Help organize product development archives, samples, and seasonal collections
Requirements
Passionate about fashion, craftsmanship, and garment construction, with a strong interest in premium and contemporary womenswear
Currently studying or recently graduated from Fashion Design, Fashion & Textile Technologies, Fashion Management, Product Development, or a related field
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of fit, materials, and garment construction
Curious, analytical, and eager to learn how design ideas translate into high quality finished products
Organized and structured, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Comfortable working with technical documents such as tech packs and measurement sheets
Confident communicating with both creative and production focused stakeholders
Proactive, hands-on, and motivated to take ownership of tasks
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
