Café Costume is looking for a design intern who loves the word "design" in its broadest sense. You'll join the Design department and follow a project the whole way through, from research to a finished product.
That spans moodboards and research at one end, and finished samples, fits and production follow-up at the other. You'll see how an idea for a suit, a wedding look or a ready-to-wear piece becomes an actual garment.
This internship suits someone who wants the full picture of design work, not just one slice of it.
What you'll do
- Research trends and build moodboards
- Translate ideas into visual designs
- Assist with product development and sampling
- Follow up on production
- Finalize prototypes, collection samples and fits
- Work across textile and fashion design
- Check quality on samples and production
- Liaise with suppliers
What you'll bring
- Expert command of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Positive, proactive work ethic
- Creative and conceptual thinking
- Passion for fashion, art or architecture
- Flexibility
- Team spirit
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Driver's license, a plus
