About the role
Overview
Fashion for Good is seeking an Innovation Associate to support the adoption of processing innovations across the textile value chain. Our mission is to transform and build a regenerative fashion industry by fostering collaboration and bringing innovative solutions to the forefront.
Responsibilities
Drive project initiation and management for country- and product-focused decarbonisation initiatives
Operationalize blueprints for low impact textile factories
Manage technology retrofit support programme for Indian textile manufacturers
Lead development of an automated decarbonisation recommendation tool
Build relationships with processing innovators and provide strategic support
Develop expertise in textile processing innovations
Build a pipeline of manufacturers in key regions like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Vietnam
Develop reports and industry intelligence on textile decarbonization
Represent Fashion for Good at conferences and industry events
Requirements
5-7 years experience in textiles sustainability, consulting, or innovations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven project management experience
Understanding of global textile supply chain mechanisms
Knowledge of environmental sustainability and decarbonisation
Academic degree in business, textile engineering, fashion technology, or related field
Fluency in English
