About the role
Overview
Fashion for Good is seeking Innovation Interns to join their dynamic Innovation Platform, which unites the fashion ecosystem to transform and build a regenerative industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainable innovation across various initiatives including materials circularity, validation, and decarbonisation technologies.
Responsibilities
Conduct in depth industry research into circularity, recycling, decarbonisation, and next generation material innovations
Develop and update innovation landscapes and reports with emerging insights
Scout and assess new innovations using Fashion for Good's due diligence framework
Support project teams with daily project management tasks
Conduct screening Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs)
Track project timelines, deadlines, and milestones
Create engaging visual collaterals and project documentation
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an academic degree (Bachelor, MBA, or Masters) within the EU
Strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills
Good understanding of textile manufacturing and fashion industry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in English
Strong G Suite knowledge and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in textile circularity
Background in materials innovation
Knowledge of lifecycle analysis
Experience in polymer science
Understanding of footwear product development
Background in sustainability consulting
