About the role
Overview
Gray Label is an Amsterdam-based baby and children's clothing brand dedicated to creating premium, minimalist essentials made from organic materials. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Product to oversee our entire product process, from collection planning to delivery.
Responsibilities
Translate commercial objectives into a strong and balanced product assortment
Oversee pricing, margins, quality, fit, material selection, and product data
Maintain and develop relationships with production partners and suppliers in countries like Portugal and Turkey
Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and supplier terms
Manage buying planning, forecasting, and inventory strategy across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels
Ensure product quality and maintain certifications (GOTS, RWS, GRS)
Lead the Product Team and structure processes, workflows, and product data management
Identify opportunities for product improvements and optimization of existing styles
Requirements
5-10 years of experience in product development, buying, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer goods
Commercially minded, analytical, and highly organized
Strong understanding of product development, materials, quality, margins, and inventory management
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
Experience with ERP systems, Excel, and product management processes
Fluency in Dutch and English
Willingness to travel internationally several times a year
