About the role
Overview
At Hunkemöller, this internship is more than just a work experience, it's an opportunity to be part of the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) Program, starting in September 2026. You'll join a dynamic team of 50+ interns and immerse yourself in the world of product development within a leading European lingerie brand.
Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of the product development cycle, including testing and ensuring fit for purpose across HKM product types
Assist with weekly fitting sessions, including video conference calls with international suppliers
Compile and send supplier comments with technical diagrams and photos
Organize and manage weekly fit rail and calendar in coordination with buying department
Manage internal wear trial processes
Conduct competitive research as needed
Support various departmental tasks
Requirements
Enrolled in Bachelor/Masters program (TMO, AMFI, Saxion) with focus on fabrics, product making & finishing
Passionate about product development with a keen eye for detail
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Proactive approach and solution-driven mindset
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Completed first semesters preferred
Strong interest in product understanding, fabrication, and finishing
