Overview
JBC, a leading Belgian fashion retailer, is seeking a passionate Fashion Designer to join their creative team. As part of the Claes Retail Group, we're looking for a talented individual who can bring fresh, trendy designs to life for our girls' clothing line.
Responsibilities
Create technical stylesheets for clothing designs and prints in collaboration with the Concept Designer
Support the Concept Designer in developing fashionable and trendy collections for JBC girls
Detect and track fashion trends through trade shows, shopping, trend books, and magazines
Develop fashion trends in detail using Illustrator and Photoshop
Present collections to management and provide advice on color palettes and themes for different target groups
Requirements
Higher education in a creative field, preferably in fashion design
Minimum 2 years of experience in concept and product development in a retail environment
Strong ability to follow and translate trends to match brand DNA
Commercial mindset with ability to understand customer perspective
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
Exceptional attention to detail
Flexibility and ability to meet strict deadlines
Result-oriented with a critical and adaptable approach
