01 — About the role

About the role

This is an unpaid internship, minimum three months, on-site in Berlin, inside a small slow-fashion atelier where garments are still made by hand.

You support the day-to-day running of the atelier: incoming rental orders, office and administrative work, photo and video content for Instagram and the website, and the practical groundwork behind events, production and the season calendar. You work directly with the person who leads operations, who has run this side of the business alone until now. You would be the second.

You arrive at a full moment. Fashion Positions runs through the autumn, and preparation for Berlin Fashion Week FW28 runs through the winter. You work on both, on the organizing side. No two weeks look the same, but the method stays constant: plan the week first, then follow the plan.

  • Handle incoming rental orders
  • Run daily office and administrative tasks
  • Shoot photos and video of the atelier's work for Instagram and the website
  • Support the practical side of events, production and the season calendar
  • Work directly with the person who leads operations
  • Help prepare for Fashion Positions and Berlin Fashion Week FW28
  • Plan each week in advance and follow the plan through

  • Studies in fashion management, brand management or business in Berlin, or experience in office work or communications
  • Availability to start any day between 1 September and 1 October 2026
  • Minimum three months, extendable for a mandatory placement (Pflichtpraktikum)
  • On-site availability in Berlin
  • Willingness to take on an unpaid internship
