As the Senior Lead for Sustainability in Footwear Creation, you'll be a critical change leader transforming sustainability from concept to scalable reality. Working across Footwear Development, Engineering, Materials, and Testing, you'll ensure every product decision moves the company closer to a lower-impact, higher-quality future.
Responsibilities
Translate sustainability vision into practical, executable strategies throughout the product creation process
Define and implement frameworks, tools, and metrics to embed sustainability within development teams
Act as a strategic consultant, helping teams interpret data and make informed material and process decisions
Lead scale up of key sustainability initiatives like dope dye and low impact dyeing solutions
Integrate sustainability into creation workflows from material selection to prototyping and testing
Track and report creation centric sustainability key performance indicators
Deliver training and tools to empower teams in making sustainability driven decisions
Requirements
8+ years of progressive experience in the footwear industry
Strong operational background in product creation and production environments
Proven project management skills with ability to turn complex strategies into structured execution
Deep understanding of sustainable creation practices
Ability to balance sustainability with performance, aesthetics, quality, and cost
Excellent cross functional collaboration and communication skills
