About the role

This role owns every trim and packaging development from first concept to final approval, working with minimal oversight. You translate creative direction into solutions that are technically sound, scalable and commercially viable, sourced within the nominated supplier matrix.

You'll apply deep technical expertise and sound judgment to manage complex developments, shifting requirements and competing priorities. Strong partnership across design, product development, merchandising, sourcing and quality keeps scope, ownership, timing and expectations aligned, and every request moves through the right process.

The role moves across Business Units, product categories and material areas as priorities shift, and you'll act as the go-to technical resource for colleagues and stakeholders.

02 — What you'll do

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end development of seasonal and core trim and packaging materials for assigned Business Units, product categories or material areas, from concept through final approval
  • Translate design direction into technically feasible, scalable material solutions that balance brand identity, commercial needs, sustainability, compliance, traceability and production requirements
  • Curate seasonal material toolboxes and maintain core toolboxes that support innovation, brand consistency and commercial objectives
  • Partner with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality, suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver seasonal developments, aligning scope, ownership, timing and expectations
  • Assess and shape incoming development requests, clarifying the underlying business need and reframing requests where needed to fit team remit and priorities
  • Prioritize and manage workload, timelines, dependencies and risks, adapting plans and flagging capacity constraints and trade-offs
  • Navigate differing perspectives and priorities, influencing decisions and managing expectations across functions without direct authority
  • Resolve complex technical, commercial and operational challenges by applying expertise, data and sound business judgment
  • Apply and uphold development processes, approval requirements and the nominated supplier matrix, ensuring materials meet PVH standards for quality, compliance, sustainability and traceability
  • Maintain accurate material specifications, approvals and digital records within PLM and relevant material libraries
  • Identify and implement ways to simplify material assortments and improve development processes, tools and standards
  • Act as a subject-matter resource for assigned material categories, mentoring colleagues and sharing industry and material developments
03 — What you'll bring

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in materials, textiles, product development, engineering, fashion or supply chain, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 4+ years in trim, packaging, raw materials or product development within apparel, fashion or consumer goods
  • Proven experience managing material developments from concept through commercialization, including resolving technical, supplier, quality, cost and timeline challenges
  • In-depth knowledge of trim and packaging materials, manufacturing processes and applications, paired with commercial judgment to balance brand, quality, cost, sustainability and timing
  • Strong project and priority-management skills, with experience running multiple concurrent developments and communicating risks and trade-offs
  • Excellent stakeholder-management, influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build alignment across functions without direct authority
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams and external suppliers, with the flexibility to support different Business Units and product categories
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, balancing attention to detail with awareness of broader business priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English, with the ability to adapt messages and influence stakeholders across functions
