Tess V is a fast-growing Dutch fashion brand with a strong online presence, six stores and more than 120 colleagues. Ambitious, entrepreneurial, always in motion.
To support its next phase of growth, Tess V is looking for an Operations Manager who brings structure, keeps overview and makes sure the organization runs smoothly every day. This person sits in the middle of the business, knows what is happening across departments, and makes sure plans get executed, not just written down.
You are visible on the work floor, bring people together, spot bottlenecks early and take initiative before they become problems. You get energy from building an organization, creating the calm, overview and structure that let teams work well together as Tess V grows.
What you'll do
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly and teams work well together
- Create overview, structure and clear priorities, translating strategy and growth goals into concrete operational plans
- Spot bottlenecks, follow through on action points and track progress on solutions
- Make sure agreements are kept and improvements are actually implemented
- Switch quickly between departments and connect colleagues
- Work with the Head of Retail to keep daily store operations running smoothly
- Improve processes, systems, working methods and collaboration between departments
- Initiate organization-wide improvements and continuously look for smarter, more efficient and more scalable ways of working
- Anticipate what Tess V's growth requires from processes, systems and capacity
- Coordinate and drive organization-wide projects such as store openings, renovations, automations and system implementations
- Set up and monitor clear project plans, responsibilities, budgets and deadlines, and make sure projects are executed successfully and embedded in the organization
- Connect the departments involved so everyone knows what needs to happen and when
- Monitor operational KPIs and performance and turn insights into concrete actions
- Drive progress on operational goals and spot opportunities to improve returns and efficiency
- Monitor operational budgets and costs together with Finance
- Support capacity planning so people and resources are used effectively
- Work daily with Retail, Customer Care, HR, Finance, Logistics and other departments
- Bring people together and encourage ownership and shared goals
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's or master's level of working and thinking
- At least five years of experience in an operational management role within a fast-growing organization
- Experience in retail, fashion or e-commerce as a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of working with data
- Ability to bring structure, keep overview and set clear priorities
- Hands-on, visible presence, moving easily between different teams
- Commercial insight into how operational choices affect revenue, margin and customer experience
- Energy for building an organization that is still taking shape
- Frequent presence at the head office in Rhenen
