Overview
Tess van Zalinge is seeking a passionate fashion design intern to join their small, multidisciplinary team in Amsterdam. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the designer in a dynamic, creative atelier environment. The internship offers real responsibilities, creative freedom, and the chance to make meaningful contributions from day one.
Responsibilities
Conduct research for inspiration, concepts, upcoming collections, and new projects
Create mood boards, illustrations, and technical drawings
Translate concepts into sketches and design proposals
Support pattern making, sampling, and garment construction
Assist with fittings, repairs, and modifications of designs
Organize press requests and maintain the design archive
Help with daily operations and assist during creative and production days
Requirements
Currently studying or graduated in Creative Branding, Communication, or related field (Bachelor or Master level)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
Strong skills in patternmaking, tailoring, and sewing
Deep interest and knowledge of the fashion industry
Fluent in English and Dutch
Communicative, creative, and proactive
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
