About the role
The Assistant Fashion Buyer supports the Buyer in shaping a commercial, forward-thinking collection for Costes. It's a role built for someone who reads trends, colours, fabrics and silhouettes before most people notice them.
You've completed a fashion-related education and you're ready to put that foundation to work inside a buying team that carries the collection from first concept through to the supplier and, eventually, the shop floor.
What you'll do
- Work closely with Buying, the Designer and the Graphic Designer to develop the collection
- Support the buying plan and take ownership of its execution and follow-up
- Prepare, check and process the collection for suppliers
- Keep all administrative and operational processes running correctly
- Support budget monitoring and commercial management of the collection through analysis and information gathering
- Report to the (Senior) Fashion Buyer
What you'll bring
- Completed higher education (HBO) in fashion management
- Some experience in fashion or retail, a plus rather than a requirement
- Strong command of Dutch and English
- Analytical mindset with a head for numbers
- Energetic, independent approach with out-of-the-box thinking
- Sharp commercial instinct and up-to-date knowledge of the latest fashion trends
