01 — About the role

About the role

Tommy Hilfiger is one of the world's most recognized global lifestyle brands, and this six-month cover role sits inside the Product Development team at Tommy Hilfiger MSW in Amsterdam.

The team takes product from initial concept through to physical and digital garments, balancing quality, innovation and sustainability while hitting company and divisional KPIs. You'll work across vendors, supply value chain and quality assurance to keep development on calendar and on margin.

It's a hands-on role for someone who wants ownership over a product category during a defined stretch, with data integrity and clear communication at the center of the job.

02 — What you'll do

What you'll do

  • Lead research and development for the product category
  • Own product-category KPIs including margins, sustainability innovation, overdevelopment and on-time SMS delivery
  • Maintain accurate, complete and timely data in PLM, including BOM and pricing
  • Send vendor requests for protos and SMS and ensure samples arrive on time against calendar deadlines
  • Set target FOB prices and negotiate with direct vendors and the supply value chain to reach margin targets
  • Review fabric and trim lead times with the supply value chain and B&P and align allocations accordingly
  • Liaise with Central Quality Assurance on any quality issues
  • Handle ad hoc tasks such as sample organizing, meeting preparation, analysis and reporting
03 — What you'll bring

What you'll bring

  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in fashion, clothing or textiles, or equivalent industry experience
  • Product knowledge of apparel, preferably within the Kids category, including the PD process
  • Knowledge of fabric and trim quality and color approval
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach across departments
  • Ability to solve straightforward problems using standard procedures
  • Comfort working hands-on in a busy, demanding environment
  • High data integrity
  • Self-driven, pragmatic and business-minded outlook
  • Alignment with PVH's values of individuality, passion, accountability, partnership and integrity
  • Good written and spoken English
