Zegna Group's Knitwear team, based in Verrone (BI), is looking for a Senior Pattern Maker to help build knitwear and hybrid garments with real technical depth. You will sit at the point where design meets construction, turning stylistic direction into patterns that hold their fit and their integrity through production.
The role works closely with Style, Product, Industrialization and Production, so your technical judgment shapes the whole development process, not just a single step. You will be trusted to protect stylistic consistency, fit and industrial feasibility at once.
Beyond individual garments, you will help shape how the team works and grows, contributing directly to its results and to the evolution of its practices.
What you'll do
- Translate design and stylistic direction into technical solutions that meet quality and fit requirements
- Oversee defect correction, fitting and prototyping, proposing technical improvements where needed
- Manage size grading and complete technical spec sheets for garments
- Collaborate with Style and Product to refine constructions, materials and processes
- Liaise with Industrialization and Production to ensure garments are made correctly
- Support collection development in line with the calendar timeline
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years of experience in pattern making
- Ability to read and interpret design sketches and stylistic direction
- Proficiency with CAD pattern-making systems, Lectra Investronica preferred
- Solid knowledge of production processes and industrial sensibility
- Precision, operational autonomy and strong focus on product quality
- Experience running fitting sessions and resolving fit issues
- Reputation for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
- Organizational solidity and resilience during peak workload periods
- English knowledge, preferred
