CYBEX designs car seats, strollers, carriers and kids furniture, and its Fashion Designer role sits at the centre of how those products look and feel. Based in Bayreuth, you shape the concept for each market and trend oriented collection and keep it evolving in step with current trends and the CYBEX DNA.
The job spans the full arc of design: trend research and international market analysis, design drafts, material and colour selection, and print development. You work closely with product management and the quality team from first sketch to production, build the collection documents and presentations that carry ideas into meetings, and travel across Europe and Asia for trade fairs, store checks and supplier visits.

What you'll do
- Develop the concept for market and trend oriented collections and evolve them in line with current trends and the CYBEX DNA
- Research trends and analyse international markets, converting findings into commercially successful products
- Create design drafts, select materials and colours, and develop prints
- Collaborate closely with product management and the quality team throughout the development process, from design to production
- Prepare collection documents and present them at relevant meetings
- Travel across Europe and Asia for trade fairs, store checks and supplier visits
What you'll bring
- Degree in Fashion Design or a comparable qualification, with several years of experience as a Fashion Designer, ideally in lifestyle, sports or juvenile products
- Track record designing collections from initial concept to market ready product, including mood boards, colour concepts and trend themes aligned with brand identity, target group and budget
- High level of creativity, strong aesthetic sense, curiosity and originality, paired with respect for the CYBEX brand DNA in every design decision
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), confidence in hand drawn and digital sketches and technical drawings, and advanced knowledge of pattern construction
- Habit of monitoring trends through trade fairs, social media, street style and competitor analysis, and translating them into concepts for the brand
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for close collaboration with Product Management, Industrial Design, Quality and Project Management
- Ability to create detailed technical specifications that keep designs manufacturable at scale without losing aesthetic integrity
- Experience sourcing and evaluating fabrics, trims and accessories through supplier visits and trade shows, with attention to quality, cost and feasibility
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent English, spoken and written, with German as a plus
