Lofty Manner is looking for a strong Allround Designer Womenswear to help take the brand to its next level. You'll be one of the makers of the Lofty Manner DNA, moving fluidly between concept and commerce, from first sketch to technical drawing, with a sharp read on what the community wants.
You breathe fashion, hold structure and overview, and know exactly where creativity meets sales power. Collectioning is second nature to you: from color story to product mix, you build coherent drops that hold together. Together with the design team, you'll work on 12 collections a year, each with its own story, color world, and signature.
You'll get the freedom to surprise and the responsibility to fine-tune, inside a creative team that matches your energy.
What you'll do
- Develop 12 inspiring collections a year, with focus on your own article groups
- Collection from concept, translating ideas into inspiring and commercial collections, from moodboard to color card to fully worked technical (2D) drawings, with attention to detail and consistency
- Spot trends through national and international shopping trips, trade fairs, and runway reports, and translate them into silhouettes, prints, and materials
- Attend fittings, actively taking part in fit sessions and steering design, fit, and finish together with the product development team
- Pursue continuous improvement and innovation, both on product level and within your own working process
What you'll bring
- Completed higher vocational (HBO) education in fashion
- At least 4 years of experience as a Fashion Designer in a comparable segment
- Excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, experience with prints and artworks a plus
- Strong trend antenna, feel for aesthetics and commercial opportunity
- Structured and precise approach, guarding detail, timing, and overview at a high pace
- Passion for collectioning, thinking in stories, looks, and a balanced product mix
- Ability to weigh creativity against sales power
- Independent and a team player, initiative-driven, energetic, and solution-focused
- Affinity with the style and identity of Lofty Manner is a must
- Portfolio that shows you understand fashion
