Join the FALKE Fashion team at the Schmallenberg or Düsseldorf site as Head of Fashion. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role at head-of-division level for a seasoned fashion professional.
You will develop and implement a holistic fashion and collection strategy, from range architecture and price segments to target groups and international market positioning. You lead interdisciplinary teams across design, product development and product management along the entire product life cycle, and you take overall responsibility for business performance: revenue, margin, budget and the KPIs that steer it.
The role reaches across the business. You align design, supply chain and procurement on time-to-market, cost and production realities, and you work with marketing to turn collection concepts into campaigns and brand messages. You build channel-agnostic go-to-market strategies centered on D2C, e-commerce, e-tail and retail, and you bring sustainability and innovation into the strategy itself, across materials, processes and product development.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement a holistic fashion and collection strategy covering range architecture, price segments, target groups and international market positioning
- Lead and steer interdisciplinary teams across design, product development and product management along the entire product life cycle
- Develop and implement channel-agnostic go-to-market strategies with a focus on D2C, e-commerce, e-tail and retail
- Ensure optimal alignment between design, supply chain and procurement on time-to-market, cost and production realities
- Work closely with marketing to translate collection concepts into impactful campaigns, storytelling and brand messages
- Integrate sustainability and innovation into the fashion strategy across materials, processes and product development
- Take overall responsibility for business performance including revenue, margin and budget, with data-driven steering of relevant KPIs
What you'll bring
- At least 8 to 10 years of professional and leadership experience in a fashion environment, ideally in the premium or luxury segment, with responsibility for collections and teams
- Solid experience in direct-to-consumer and e-commerce business, plus developing channel-agnostic go-to-market and range strategies
- Strong design and product understanding, with the ability to evaluate creative concepts for trends, materials, fits and commercial relevance
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking with a high affinity for numbers and data-driven decision-making
- An inspiring leadership style with clear communication, assertiveness and a focus on performance and team ownership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
