At Fusalp's Paris studio, this senior role imagines and creates the women's collections alongside the artistic director. Work runs within the brand platform, the design platform, and the collection plan, with a hybrid setup.
The designer supports product development from the first prototype to the SMS ready-to-buy stage, carrying each collection from idea to sample. It is a hands-on, collaborative position at the center of the women's offer.
What you'll do
- Interpret the brand codes, the artistic direction vision, and relevant fashion trends
- Carry out iconographic and vintage research, and build mood boards and color ranges
- Select materials and trims
- Turn the artistic direction's ideas into sketches
- Design models that balance creativity with technical feasibility
- Produce technical vector sketches
- Refine volumes, details, and finishing with developers and pattern makers during fittings
- Work in design to cost with the development team
- Take part in styling sessions with the artistic direction
What you'll bring
- Confirmed studio experience within a premium or luxury brand
- Disciplined creativity, with the ability to innovate within a precise framework
- Product culture: aesthetic sense, research, and trend awareness
- Material and technique knowledge: mastery of volumes and the specifics of outerwear
- Rigor in execution: drawings, spec sheets, technical sketches, and respect for the delivery schedule
- Strong listening skills and a collaborative approach
- Curiosity and adaptability
- Strong visual communication: mood boards, sketches, storytelling
- Illustrator proficiency, with 3D design software a plus
- Fluent English
