Product Developer (Parental Cover)
About the role
Overview
We are seeking a talented Product Developer to join our Product Development team on a maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity to own the end-to-end development of product categories, working closely with Design, Product Engineering, and Production to create high-quality fashion products.
Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the product development lifecycle for assigned categories
Develop and review tech packs, measurements, grading, and construction details
Lead product fittings and proactively resolve fit, construction, or quality issues
Monitor project timelines and identify potential risks
Negotiate costs and support margin optimization
Maintain accurate Product Master Data in ERP/PLM systems
Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Merchandise, Production, and Quality teams
Act as a strategic partner for Design, balancing creative ambition with commercial realities
Mentor and support Junior Product Developers
Travel to suppliers and production countries as required
Requirements
4-6+ years of product development experience in fashion, preferably contemporary or premium brands
Strong technical understanding of garment construction
Experience managing complex product categories across multiple styles and seasons
Proficient in digital tools, including Adobe Illustrator (Centric PLM experience is a plus)
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Proactive, confident, and solution-oriented mindset
Comfortable in fast-paced, creative environments
