You lead the development process from idea to finished product and become a key player in the product and design team. Work moves at a fast tempo with short decision paths, and every product is held to the highest standard in fit, construction and quality, with the creative direction always in focus.
This is a role for someone who burns for product development, quality and innovation, and who wants to help create the sportswear of the future.
What you'll do
- Lead the development process for selected product groups, covering womenswear, menswear, bags and accessories
- Collaborate closely with the Design team to find the best technical solutions, materials and details for each product
- Serve as the central contact between Design and suppliers, ensuring all products meet our high standards
- Secure materials and trims in dialogue with Buying on suppliers, lead times and target costs
- Create and administer tech packs and keep BOM information correct
- Join fittings, give detailed feedback and follow up to achieve perfect results
- Contribute to quality control so suppliers continuously deliver to expectation
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in textile technology, materials and sportswear
What you'll bring
- Relevant education in Fashion Design, Textile Design or equivalent
- Five years of experience in a similar role
- Experience from a smaller, scale-up or growth company
- Documented experience in product development, preferably in sportswear
- Very good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, preferably with Centric PLM or equivalent systems
