NA-KD is looking for a Garment Technician to join the team on a temporary substitute contract, based in Gothenburg with a hybrid remote policy. This role sits at the center of product development, responsible for the fit, quality, and functionality of every garment before it reaches production.
You'll work closely with design and purchasing, leading fitting sessions and giving suppliers clear, actionable feedback. Sizing, grading, and technical packages fall under your care, alongside quality evaluations and returns analysis, so every style meets its specification without breaking budget.
What you'll do
- Partner with design and purchasing to secure the best fit for each product
- Measure and prepare samples for fitting sessions
- Lead fitting sessions on live model or dummy
- Write clear fit comments and communicate them to suppliers
- Manage sizing and grading across the range
- Evaluate the quality of materials and finished garments
- Respond to product queries and returns from wholesalers and customers
- Keep garment production within budget
- Hold overall responsibility for fit from order through production, ensuring specification and quality are met
- Create and maintain accurate technical packages
- Analyze returns data
What you'll bring
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Garment Technician or Pattern Maker
- Experience with grading measurement lists
- Understanding of manufacturing, textiles, and garment construction, with pattern-making experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of workmanship, fabrics, and stitching, and the ability to communicate it clearly to stakeholders
- Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and PLM software
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Confident, clear communication with product teams and external suppliers
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Clo3D experience a plus
