Olivia & Kate is a fast-growing Dutch womenswear brand that opened its boutique doors in Haarlem in 2017 and quickly expanded into one of the fastest-growing online fashion stores in the Netherlands. The brand combines a boutique sensibility with a strong digital presence, and is now building out its creative team to support exciting future collections.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Developer to join our team and play a central role in bringing our collections to life. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a genuine love for fashion, and hands-on experience in product development, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
As a Product Developer, you will own the full production process for our collections, from the proto phase through to the finished product. You will work closely with the design and buying team, suppliers, and production partners to ensure every item meets the high quality standards that define Olivia & Kate.
What you'll do
- Overseeing and executing designs from the proto phase through to the completed production item
- Leading proto and production fittings and following up on fit comments with suppliers
- Checking and approving fabrics and lab dips ahead of production
- Managing multiple collections simultaneously while maintaining quality and consistency
- Monitoring production processes and keeping a close eye on deadlines
- Managing costs and negotiating prices with suppliers
- Staying up to date with trends and translating them into commercial products that fit the Olivia & Kate aesthetic
What you'll bring
- Completed HBO degree in Fashion, Textiles, or a comparable field
- At least 1 year of experience as a Product Developer within womenswear
- Strong interest in trends, innovation, and product quality
- In-depth knowledge of fit and product development across a range of fabrics including heavy and lightweight wovens, jersey, knitwear, denim, and outerwear
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Structured approach to work with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Proactive, creative, and flexible mindset with a keen eye for detail
