About the role

Overview

Reflect Studio develops and delivers premium merchandise, apparel, and lifestyle products for leading brands and communities. From product ideation and sourcing through to production and fulfillment, the team manages the entire journey with a strong focus on creativity, quality, and execution.

This role sits at the heart of that process. As a Merchandiser at Reflect Studio, you'll take ownership of customer projects from brief to delivery coordinating product development, sourcing, costing, sampling, and production with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end product development processes based on customer briefs.

  • Research and develop suitable product, material, manufacturing, and sourcing alternatives.

  • Collect supplier quotations, prepare cost analyses, and support pricing activities.

  • Conduct product costing while ensuring target profitability is maintained.

  • Evaluate production capacity and supplier lead times to build realistic delivery plans.

  • Coordinate sample development, supplier communication, and customer approval processes.

  • Review samples for quality, materials, measurements, and production readiness.

  • Monitor production progress and proactively resolve delivery, quality, or capacity issues.

  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Design, Operations, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.

  • Identify and onboard new suppliers while strengthening existing supplier relationships.

  • Track order progress and prepare operational reports.

  • Drive continuous improvements across sourcing and production processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • 3–6 years of experience in merchandising, product development, sourcing, or production within the textile, apparel, promotional products, or merchandising industry.

  • Strong knowledge of costing, sourcing, production planning, and supplier management.

  • Excellent project coordination and communication skills.

  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical thinking.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and solution-oriented approach to work.

  • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, costing, and analysis.
