About the role
As Buyer Menswear at WE Fashion, you take ownership of the full Outerwear range, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to build collections that balance trend, quality, and CSR standards.
You lead a Buying Assistant and bring strategic input to Design and Merchandising, translating market analysis and trend insight into collections that perform. Process optimization, accurate data, and clear reporting are part of your daily rhythm.
This role suits a buyer ready for the next step, someone who moves comfortably between sourcing, strategy, and team leadership.
What you'll do
- Run the full buying process for Outerwear, including fabric selection, price negotiation, and production planning
- Maintain supplier relationships across China, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Turkey, and oversee quality and CSR standards
- Provide strategic input and work with Design and Merchandising to translate market analysis and trend insight into collections
- Build strategic plans with Merchandising and adjust course during the season to optimize results
- Lead a Buying Assistant responsible for order processing and administrative support
- Manage the buying system and keep it accurate, while delivering data analysis and reporting
- Report to the Buying & Merchandising Director Menswear
What you'll bring
- Experience in buying within the Outerwear product group, with an affinity for menswear
- Precision, attention to detail, and strong communication with colleagues and suppliers
- A clear overview, sound prioritization, and careful work under pressure
- Ongoing awareness of menswear developments, with an eye for turning trends into commercial opportunities
