ALOHAS is seeking a passionate Handbag Designer to lead the creation of innovative and sustainable handbag collections. This is an exciting opportunity to shape product offerings for a fast-growing, sustainability-focused Spanish fashion brand that is reimagining responsible shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the entire handbag design process from initial concept to final sample, ensuring alignment with ALOHAS' brand vision and market trends
Research and integrate new sustainable materials and innovative textures to create trend-forward handbag designs
Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards
Develop detailed design sketches, tech packs, and CAD drawings
Conduct trend analysis and competitor research to anticipate customer preferences
Drive seasonal design storytelling that resonates with the brand's target audience
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously with creativity and efficiency
Research and explore sustainable sourcing options and innovative materials
Work directly with suppliers to track samples and manage production orders

Requirements

5+ years of experience in handbag design, preferably within premium or high-growth fashion brands
Strong creative vision with exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D modeling programs
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainable design principles
Project management skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Deep understanding of fashion trends and brand positioning

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AI design tools
Willingness to travel for factory visits and trade shows
