Overview
ALOHAS is seeking an Asia Marketing & PR Manager to lead the brand's expansion into China and South Korea. This is a foundational role that will transform organic social media buzz into a structured growth engine, bridging the brand's Mediterranean essence with the vibrant digital ecosystems of East Asia.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage official presence on key Asian platforms like Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat, Weibo, Naver, and KakaoTalk
Adapt global campaign assets for local audiences, ensuring cultural relevance
Develop a localized content calendar balancing high-fashion storytelling with platform-specific trends
Manage daily community engagement to foster an ALOHAS community in Asia
Build and maintain relationships with top-tier fashion media outlets like Vogue China, Elle Korea, and Harper's Bazaar Asia
Coordinate press samples and lookbooks tailored for the Asian media landscape
Identify and manage influencer collaborations and partnerships
Provide market intelligence and strategic insights on Asian digital trends
Track and report on key performance indicators
Requirements
Native-level Mandarin or Korean (bilingual is a plus), with professional English proficiency
3-5 years of digital marketing experience in the Asian market, preferably for a Western fashion or lifestyle brand
Deep knowledge of Asian social media platform algorithms and content formats
Background in fashion, accessories, or sustainable lifestyle brands
Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and basic photo/video editing
Ability to build media networks and relationships
Analytical mindset with performance tracking capabilities
Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to travel 2-3 times per year
