AMIRI is looking for an experienced EU Logistics Manager to join its Operations team, based in Milan. Reporting to the Global Logistics Director, this role owns the day-to-day execution and ongoing improvement of logistics across the EU and UK, covering both retail and wholesale channels, with accountability for service, cost, compliance, and inventory accuracy.
The role builds on an existing logistics function but widens its scope. Transaction management and inventory reconciliation become core responsibilities alongside the usual service and cost targets, and the position carries a clear mandate to communicate with and support other divisions.
You'll be the main point of contact between warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams from wholesale to finance, keeping inventory accurate and shipments on track across two markets.
What you'll do
- Manage EU and UK 3PL and transportation operations, hitting service, delivery, and cost KPIs
- Oversee daily logistics execution across inbound, outbound, transfers, urgent requests, and peak periods
- Resolve operational issues with warehouses, freight forwarders, and parcel carriers including DHL and DPD
- Coordinate factory pickups and transportation flows with Production teams and external logistics providers
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping documentation and transportation processes
- Oversee logistics transactions across WMS, ERP, and 3PL systems for timely, accurate inventory movements
- Lead inventory reconciliation across EU and UK operations, including discrepancy investigation and root-cause analysis
- Maintain inventory controls to improve stock accuracy, reduce variances, and support audit readiness
- Act as the primary logistics contact for wholesale, retail, finance, production, development, warehouse, and Head Office teams
- Communicate operational risks, delays, constraints, and recovery plans clearly and on time
- Support other business functions with logistics insight on lead times, inventory allocation, and transfers
- Identify and implement process improvements across logistics operations, reporting, and controls
- Develop and maintain SOPs, operational procedures, and reporting standards
- Monitor logistics KPIs and turn them into actionable insight for efficiency and cost improvement
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in EU and/or UK logistics operations within retail, omnichannel, or luxury apparel, with clear ownership of execution and service levels
- Strong background in inventory control, transaction integrity, and reconciliation across WMS, ERP, and 3PL coordination
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and process-driven approach
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external partners, and confident communication
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe, including routine visits to 3PL sites in Italy and London
