Are you creative, fashion conscious, and ready to turn your ideas into real designs? At by-bar, a fast growing Dutch clothing and accessories label, you'll get the chance to help develop a complete fashion collection from A to Z.
by-bar manages the entire process of styling, development, buying, sales, and logistics from its office and central warehouse. Production takes place mainly in Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and India, and the collections are sold through wholesale, the company's own webshop, and a brand store. The work environment is young, creative, entrepreneurial, and results driven, with short lines of communication and plenty of room for initiative.
As a Design Intern, you'll work closely with the design team and support a wide range of creative and preparatory tasks. No day is the same!
What you'll do
- Support the creative design process and trend research.
- Help put together moodboards, color and material presentations.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining collection overviews.
- Contribute to developing technical drawings and artworks.
- Support fitting sessions and sample development.
- Maintain contact with other departments such as development, buying, and marketing.
- Contribute ideas on innovation in collection presentation and styling.
What you'll bring
- You are studying MBO or HBO in fashion design, styling, or textile design.
- You are looking for an educational, hands-on internship.
- You have a creative eye and a feel for color, shape, and trends.
- You are precise, proactive, and not afraid to take initiative.
- You can work both independently and as part of a team.
- You have a good command of Dutch, spoken and written.
