DANTE6, a women's fashion brand based in Vlaardingen, is looking for a Senior Designer to shape the label's identity and drive its future growth. You join a team of international creatives and work as one of four designers who bring the brand's DNA to life with energy and originality. Always on the pulse of emerging trends, you turn what's next into designs that speak directly to the audience.
The role is hands-on by nature: research, collection concepts, fittings, and supplier hand-over all sit with you. You collaborate, brainstorm, and challenge boundaries with a team that pushes each other further. It is a senior position with real room to leave your mark on a brand built on passion and innovation.
What you'll do
- Research and identify emerging trends
- Create collection concepts with moodboards and colourcards
- Translate upcoming trends into commercial collections
- Apply a high level of fabric and yarn knowledge
- Guide fitting sessions of prototypes and pre-production samples
- Prepare designs for digital presentations and supplier hand-over
- Source qualities, washes, trims and details with full understanding
What you'll bring
- At least 5-6 years of experience in a similar position in women's fashion design
- Up-to-date knowledge of upcoming trends and market developments
- Excellent computer skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, plus hand-drawn sketching
- A portfolio that shows design skill, preferably with own sketches in your own handwriting
- Good knowledge of technical garment patterns
- Ability to work independently with a hands-on mentality and clear priorities
- Business English fluency, written and verbal
- Ability and willingness to travel
- A true team-player approach
