Overview

As Head of Design for Garcia B.V.'s Men's Collection, you will be creatively responsible for developing, curating, and defining the brand's men's fashion line. This pivotal role requires a keen eye for design, trend awareness, and the ability to translate commercial insights into compelling fashion collections.

Responsibilities

Maintain and continuously refine the Garcia Men's design aesthetic
Spot and analyze design inspirations through social media, trade literature, shopping trips, and fashion exhibitions
Track developments in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability
Collaborate intensively with buying and product development teams to create optimal end products
Contribute to pattern design, fit selection, and product quality
Work closely with marketing for collection photoshoots
Provide creative direction and color storytelling for the men's collection

Requirements

HBO level education, preferably in fashion or design
Extensive experience in menswear design
8-10 years of design experience, including multiple years as a senior designer in a fashion brand
Strong team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment
Excellent planning and deadline management skills
Fluent in Dutch and English
Hands-on, energetic, and strong communicator
