Within Development and Buying everything comes together: design, quality, planning, suppliers and commercial choices. This is where ideas become real products.
As an intern you take full part in the team and support the development process of one of the brands. You work with designs, samples, fabrics, colors and quality, and you keep direct contact with manufacturers.
The internship is a full-time working placement of at least five months in Lijnden. Everything you have learned during your studies, you apply here in practice.
What you'll do
- Work on designs and follow up on samples
- Support the team with fabrics, colors, quality and product details
- Maintain contact with manufacturers as part of the development process
- Take part in the daily process within Development and Buying
- Support ongoing work and improvements within the team
- Apply everything learned during your studies in practice
What you'll bring
- A HBO education in fashion, such as AMFI, TMO or similar
- Availability for a full-time working internship of at least 5 months
- Clear communication in English and Dutch, both verbal and written
- A flexible, constructive attitude with a positively critical eye
- A natural sense of responsibility
- A creative and practical mindset
