LolaLiza is opening a temporary, freelance mission for a Fashion Designer to take charge of a key area within its creative department. The role sits at headquarters in the heart of Brussels, a short walk from Central Station, full-time and on-site.
Reporting to the Chief Product & Marketing Officer, you join a close-knit team of designers and modelists and work closely with buyers. Your job is to keep the range stylistically coherent, commercially sharp, and moving cleanly toward launch, across several seasons running in parallel.
This is a hands-on mission for someone who can step in and run with it from day one, balancing creative direction with the pace of a retail calendar.
What you'll do
- Shape thematics, designs, and color palettes in line with the LolaLiza DNA and a strict retroplanning
- Co-build a fashionable, well-balanced offer with buyers and collaborate daily with modelists on prototypes across two to three seasons at once
- Design the collection for your product categories and build complete technical files in Illustrator, covering flats, artworks, colorways, measurements, and fitting details
- Manage approvals for lab dips, prints, trims, and fabrics, and run fitting sessions with modelists
- Track the market against the brand's positioning through regular analysis of competitors, catwalks, and fairs
- Follow product performance with your buyer, read bestsellers, and adjust the range in-season to match demand
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years in a similar role within a women's ready-to-wear brand, with end-to-end mastery of the product lifecycle
- Genuine passion for fashion, curiosity, and readiness to be fully operational from day one
- Strong decision-making and the ability to manage multiple seasons at once while balancing creative vision with commercial realism
- Expert command of Illustrator and Photoshop, with fluency in building complex technical packs
- Solid knowledge of garment construction, materials, and industrial manufacturing constraints
- Fluent English plus a strong command of French or Dutch
