Interim Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)
Love Stories is hiring a Interim Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) in Amsterdam, NL. It's a part-time, manager role with competitive pay.
Love Stories — Marketing — Amsterdam, NLAbout the role
This is a temporary, part-time role covering maternity leave, from October 2026 for roughly six to eight months, at Love Stories, an intimates brand in Amsterdam. You will work onsite.
Love Stories needs an experienced Interim Marketing Manager to keep the Marketing team running with a steady hand and a clear overview. This is not a role for reshaping the brand or for being the most creative person in the room. It is for someone who keeps everyone organised, on budget, and on schedule.
You own the brand calendar and campaign planning, monitor performance closely, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks while the Marketing Manager is on leave. Affinity with e-commerce is a strong advantage, because you will work closely with the e-commerce and merchandising teams and use their insights to inform campaign decisions.
What you'll do
- Own the brand calendar and campaign planning, coordinating the execution of all marketing activity across channels, including newsletters, social media, and campaign launches
- Coordinate online advertising with the marketing agency by aligning the brand calendar with upcoming campaign activity, discussing concepts, and briefing the agency on input from the e-commerce and merchandising teams
- Lead and manage the Marketing team day to day, with team leadership as a core part of the role
- Manage the marketing budget
- Represent the Marketing department in Management Team meetings and report back to the team
- Ensure continuity by taking ownership of ongoing projects and handing them over smoothly at the end of the assignment
What you'll bring
- Experience as a marketing manager with proven leadership and people management experience
- A calm, direct style that stays highly organised and keeps a clear overview under pressure
- A strong corporate toolkit, including structured ways of working, reporting, and well-defined processes; experience in a larger, more structured organisation is an advantage but not essential
- A collaborative team player who leaves people and projects better than they found them
- Availability for the full duration of the assignment, including a short handover period with the current Marketing Manager before she goes on maternity leave
