Responsibilities
Sketch both rough and detailed apparel or accessory designs, specifying color schemes, construction methods, materials, and accessory requirements
Modify sample garments to refine aesthetics and achieve desired design outcomes
Collaborate with sales, management executives, and clients to present and discuss design concepts
Select high-quality materials and innovative production techniques for product lines
Prepare detailed specifications and documentation for garments to guide production and AI training solutions
Organize and present sample garments at sales meetings and fashion events
Contribute industry insights to develop and refine AI tools for the fashion sector
Requirements
Advanced expertise in Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software
Proficiency in design tools including:
Autodesk Revit
StartingAClothingLine.com Digital Fashion Pro
Trimble SketchUp Pro
Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Corel CorelDraw Graphics Suite
Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work remotely and self-manage
Experience analyzing garment fit, construction, and materials
Exceptional attention to detail
Commitment to staying current with design trends and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in AI training or fashion technology
Portfolio demonstrating designs that blend creativity with technical innovation
Experience presenting collections at fashion shows or major sales events
