About the role
At OPEN32 in Arnhem, you design the Madness and Silvercreek menswear collection alongside other designers and product managers. You handle design packages independently, and you are expected to think beyond a good design: spot opportunities, bring fresh ideas, and help develop the brand.
The job is to translate trends into a commercial collection that fits the DNA of Madness and Silvercreek. You balance creativity, quality, and commerce in every decision.
What you'll do
- Spot trends early and feed them into the collections
- Design new collections for Madness and Silvercreek
- Elaborate and adjust style sheets and technical drawings
- Manage the design administration
- Fit samples together with the product team
- Actively contribute to the brand's look and development
What you'll bring
- Completed education in Fashion & Styling
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Creative and curious, with an eye for the latest trends
- Strong concept thinking and collection-building skills
- A sense of branding and an interest in building a young fashion brand
- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness
- At least five years of relevant fashion industry experience
