Parabita is looking for a Fashion Designer who can spot emerging trends early and turn them into product the customer actually wants to buy. You'll sit close to the Buying team and work directly with suppliers, translating trend direction into ranges built for the curvy woman.
This is a role for someone who reads the season ahead of the market and backs that instinct with commercial judgment. You'll help shape product strategy alongside Buyers, build the color stories and moodboards that set the tone for a range, and keep that range evolving as customer needs shift.
Expect travel. Supplier visits, inspiration trips, and store checks are part of how the range gets built here.
What you'll do
- Interpret trends into commercial designs for the curvy woman
- Develop product strategy together with the Buying team
- Translate strategy into specific products across the range
- Evolve the range continuously with Buying and suppliers to meet customer needs
- Build independent color stories and moodboards
- Travel internationally for supplier and inspiration trips
- Visit stores and analyze the competition
What you'll bring
- Technical design knowledge and a genuine interest in emerging trends
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Experience working with European and Far East factories and suppliers
- Strong ability to interpret trends into design and product
- Capacity to work under own initiative
- Confident communication skills at all levels
