Overview

POM Amsterdam is seeking a creative and commercial Fashion Designer to elevate their collections to the next level. As part of a dynamic and passionate team, you'll help translate trends and inspiration into innovative styles that perfectly align with the brand's unique DNA. This role is ideal for a fashion professional who can blend creativity with commercial insight to develop compelling collections that resonate with POM Amsterdam's vision.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the design team to create a strong, cohesive collection that reflects the brand's identity
Translate trends and inspiration into creative design concepts
Develop concepts around color, themes, prints, and silhouettes
Create detailed technical drawings and design proposals
Conduct seasonal trend research and develop clear style concepts
Work with the Senior Designer to source new fabrics, materials, and trimmings
Maintain collection overview through grid tracking and documentation
Closely collaborate with design and production teams throughout the development process
Manage the accessories package for each collection

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Designer in the fashion industry
Strong creative and commercial skills
Deep passion for fashion and design
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Solid knowledge of materials, qualities, and finishing techniques
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
Capability to not only contribute ideas but also inspire others
