About the role
The Sting is looking for a Fashion Designer to shape its womenswear collection. The role calls for someone who understands the brand's customer and can translate that understanding into a complete collection, from first sketch to finished range.
Working alongside the Fashion Buyer and Graphic Fashion Designer, you help define the brand's key looks and keep the collection true to The Sting's vision.
This is a chance to put your own design ambitions into practice, with real ownership over what ends up on the rail.
What you'll do
- Design an innovative collection that fits The Sting's vision
- Define the brand's key looks and develop moodboards together with the Fashion Buyer and Graphic Fashion Designer
- Translate creative ideas into clear technical drawings, balancing commercial items with the latest trends
- Shop regularly at home and abroad to stay inspired
What you'll bring
- Completed degree in fashion design at HBO level
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a designer in a commercial environment
- Extensive experience with Adobe CC, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Independent way of working, with initiative and out-of-the-box thinking
- Up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in fashion, retail and lifestyle
- Portfolio link included with your motivation letter or CV
