About the role
Overview
As a Buyer Menswear at WE Fashion, you'll play a crucial role in developing and purchasing Menswear collections, with a specific focus on Outerwear & Sweats. This dynamic position involves managing the entire buying process, from material selection and supplier negotiations to production planning and trend analysis.
Responsibilities
Manage the complete buying process for Menswear Outerwear & Sweats collections
Negotiate with international suppliers in China, Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Myanmar
Maintain supplier relationships through digital communication and regular site visits
Ensure compliance with quality and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards
Collaborate closely with Design and Merchandising departments to create strategic collection plans
Translate market analysis and trend insights into product selections
Manage a Buying Assistant and provide administrative oversight
Maintain accurate buying systems and use data for strategic reporting and analysis
Continuously work on process improvement and seasonal adjustments
Requirements
Previous experience in a Buying department with responsibility for a product group
Specific experience in Menswear buying
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to maintain composure and set priorities
Passion for Menswear fashion and trend forecasting
